GENERAL DUTIES

Supervise day-to-day laundry operations, ensuring all garments, linens, and fabrics are cleaned, pressed, folded, and presented to the highest standards.
Handle delicate and high-value clothing, including couture, bespoke garments, and luxury fabrics with expert care in stain removal, ironing, steaming, and handwashing.
Ensure proper sorting, processing, and storage of items, following garment-specific instructions and preferences set by the Principal and House Manager.
Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of all laundry equipment and work areas; report any issues to management promptly.
Monitor laundry supply levels, prepare requisitions, and ensure the availability of cleaning products and materials.
Train, guide, and oversee Laundry Attendants to maintain efficiency, quality, and discretion across all laundry tasks.
Coordinate with housekeeping and wardrobe teams to support wardrobe rotations, travel packing, and special requests in a timely and professional manner.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience from a commercial laundry or from a luxury private household, 5-star hotel, or yacht in a senior laundry or supervisory role.
Strong hands-on knowledge of fabric care, garment handling, and high-end laundry processes.
Experience supervising small teams and working within a structured, service-oriented environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Training or certification in laundry operations, fabric care, or garment finishing is preferred.
Proficient in the use of both domestic and industrial laundry equipment.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to uphold discretion at all times.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
